Couples Meeting ( Unfaithfulness)

Tough Talk To A Stubborn Spouse

Couples Meeting                         Faithfulness = Belief & Trust                                   July 2013

First off why we are created…GENESIS verse’s 1-26 God creates the heaven, earth, and all that is in it.  There we see He creates mankind to be like him and rule over the earth. In 2:15 He places man in the garden to tend it and keep it (For ACTION). So, by 2:18 God sees man should not be alone and needs a suitable helper(for RELATIONSHIP).
This would be the start of God’s family. God BLESSED them with all they needed. Then gave them the CHOICE of the knowlegde of good and evil. GOD wanted close FELLOWSHIP with them, however when they learned evil, He no longer could. SECOND CHANCE Noah (ark), Abraham(sarah gave haggar to him not believing), Issac(Saved), Joseph(his family)…Moses (2 sets of tablets).
We were made for Covenants. God’s makes some unconditional and some with conditions like an if, and, or but. Enter Jesus
Jeremiah 31:31-34 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. 32 It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them, ”  declares the Lord. 33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 34 No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ (Hebrew word: yadah= same intimacy as husband and wife) because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”                                                                                      Thank you Jesus!!!
COVENANTS are important to God. Has He ever broke one…?
God is Faithful
Deuteronomy 7:9 “Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;
Nehemiah 9:8  You found his heart faithful before You, And made a covenant with him To give the land of the Canaanites, The Hittites, the Amorites, The Perizzites, the Jebusites, And the Girgashites— To give it to his descendants. You have performed Your words, For You are righteous.
Isaiah 25:1 O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
Calls us to faith verse
Ezekiel 18:9  If he has walked in My statutes And kept My judgments faithfully— He is just; He shall surely live!” Says the Lord God.
Luke 16:10  He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.
Hosea 2:20 I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, And you shall know the Lord.

Next I used a Chapter from Stephen Schwambach’s book ch. 15

We cut the questions into strips and passed them out and each person talked about they have done it or how they have seen it done and how to avoid it. I praise God for giving the author such a great talent to write as well as counsel couples who are thinking of Divorce it is such a waste of our lives to continue to search. Only God can fill the true things we search for. God’s grace, peace, light, and love to you in Jesus’ Service Doreen

Great new sight for images

Hello every one just thought I would share this great picture I got from This is this weeks picture:

John 11:35 Jesus wept. That verse written here on a house that is boarded up. No trespassing signs around it. In many neighborhoods the boarded up houses are seen, for sale signs, forclosure signs, and no trespassing signs. This one says a bold and true verse from the Bible. Jesus’ wept. And who could blame Him. Houses boarded up, public water fountains are rare( nevermind bubblers!!!) shop don’t have free water… not to mention we have to pay for air at the station…Or that washing your windows or checking your oil also went the way of someone pumping your gas for a whole lot less money. This sign should be on billboards!!!

Outfit redo or just undo

DSC07524 DSC07525
This is the original skirt(given to me by a friend, which I feel, way beats buying it at the thrift shop) and a sports top I wear. So the outfit kinda worked but after wearing it one day. That skirt is too hot for Florida summer.  Well it is two layers, but it is all stretched out and makes it look wore out. This is the point were I cut out the inside skirt and take off one of the bottom layers. I was then going to attach it to the top because the waist band was stretched out. Rethought after I did it and did not take pictures, was a flop. I replaced the bottom layer of ruffles but not the inner skirt. Instead of attaching it to the top I just tuck it up when I go out of the yard. But in my yard I let my belly show. I am not as young as I used to be. But I still like a good belly tan.
Here is what it came out to be.
As you can see from the picture I had faith all along that it would come out good.
Sooooo… that is another updo, redo, remake. I am keeping my eye out for some more.
God’s grace, peace, light, and love to you in Jesus’ service, Doreen

Hooray for Hannah

hannah weeping
I have been praying for my son, like this. God gave me him, he knows of God and Jesus, he was baptized as a baby and raised in Catholic Church. But he shrugs off God and Jesus now and “he ain’t got time for that!” As I read the story of Hannah from 1 Samuel 1 I thought of him and how God answered Hannah. I trust and believe he will answer me as well. When our wills line up with His will things get done…But not in my time, in His.
In verse  1 :13 Hannah speaks to God with her soul She gushes out all her feelings. a continuing prayerful longing.
1:19 The Lord remembers her…God never leaves us or forsakes us
1:27+28 Hannah knows where her gifts come from, tells others, and worships God.
2:1 Hannah continues rejoicing in the Lord.

There is so much to gather from this story. Every timeI read it something new stricks me. It has spoken to me about a husbands love, It has spoken to me about a mothers love, It is speaking to me about prayer today. What does it speak to you?
I amcontinuing in prayer for my son and I am rejoicing already for I know with all my heart he knows God and he has accepted Jesus. This world is so hard on our kids. That river of tears I cry for Dennis is not wasted God has collected each tear drop. Psalm 58:6 God collects our tears and a record of all our sorrows.
So I am over joyed to realize I have given it to Him and He is keeping hold of them all and remembers!!!
God’s grace, peace, light, and love In Jesus’ Service.
I love you and I am praying for you. But I may not even know you were here unless you comment. So please leave me a hello or even answer my question if this speaks to you.

Mephibosheth (what a bummer)

1samuel 20v42ingles
Just a little sidework I found for the older kids if they finish faster than the younger ones. This keeps them occupied for me to help the younger ones and then it can be passed out and given to them as a take home from the lesson.
I am so blessed to know that even the lame, who are not perfect in our eyes. God has found to be perfect through the love and blood of His Son Jesus. God grants favor and blessings. He used David to bless the son of his friend Jonathan and Jonathan’s servant. I am wondering and praying for how the Lord will use me and you today to bless someone’s life. I have family and friends who are lame, Maybe not the same way as Mephibosheth was, But, they have mental, and many other issues that limit their ability. Some of them I feel it is a Spiritual lameness. And that is a real bummer.  Being Lame or a bummer Spiritually is eternal death. I lift up my prayers for the unsaved!!!
God’s grace, peace, light, and love to you always In Jesus’ service Doreen
Please do comment I know it takes time and so I am very grateful to know you stopped by and took a minute to bless me, with a hello!!!
When I used the word bummer I meant to give you a link. This link tells you what it means to be a bummer. The shepard back  in Bible times had these and I think being that we are lambs of the Great Shepard this is a good thing to someone Spiritually in need of food. Start them on milk(the word of God)!!!

Going Deep Into Saul Bible Study

I have been doing gardening and yard stuff so much lately, I must apologize for not keeping up with my Blog responsibility.
Yesterday being Sunday I was privileged to serve in Jesus Sprouts for my turn this month. Jesus Sprouts is our Children’s Ministry at North Hialeah Baptist Church, for those of you who don’t know. Which I learn from once a month so I would love it every week! I thank God for my brother and sister who came up with it. God is so Awesome and with Him in control it has been very successful.
We do have some levels and there is great teachers for all levels.
SO… Jonathan’s son…Do you know who it is? Well, I found a cute idea in a Google search about teaching kids. Kid’s love to be smarter than adults and know more. So…Ask a group of adults that question( Who is Jonathan’s son?) Have them write it and fold it if they don’t know leave it blank or out a ?. Explain it is not to pick on them but to spur the kid’s on. and in the same way it may spur on some of them that did not know. Then tally the answers and tell the kid’s that is what they are learning about today. Proceed to tell the kids the lesson making sure they remember MEPHIBOSHETH. That is Jonathan’s son whom David showed compassion and kindness to. David had sworn an oath to Jonathan whom he loved. So when Saul and his son’s were killed MEPHIBOSHETH was asked to come live with David in the castle. MEPHIBOSHETH was lame. So we showed the children different ways that someone could be lame, and how they need help for some things. There is a name game you can play if there are new kids in class ( which we have alot from other congregations with in our Church campus.) Write MEPHIBOSHETH on a chalk board or cardboard. Show how to break it down to ME PHIB O SHETH. Now tell the kid’s Your name. “I am Miss Doreen, (and then maybe say) I am not MEPHIBOSHETH!” Then go around the room and have each kid repeat it. You could have crutches or some ace bandages for kids to see how it feels and maybe blindfolds. Have them help each other doing things.
For the Gardener/teacher we read ahead the verse’s and I like to find a fun home work on the lesson.  This is what I am given to prepare:

So I looked up my verse’s and printed them out.
here it is printer friendly :,%202%20Samuel%201:%201-11,%202%20Samuel%205:1-4,%209%20&version=NKJV&interface=print
I heard nothing of Mephibosheth. So I looked it up and read 2 Samuel 9

I hope you have as great a time with this stuff as our kids and I had. You can print those out and have kids color, cut and paste.
Verse 9:8 would be great as a memory verse.
Mephibosheth bowed down (bow to kids, and then say,” what is your servant that and point at them saying you would notice, making binoculars with hands around eyes, use hand to make cut a cross throat and then pant like a dog. ) and said, “What is your servant, that you should notice a dead dog like me?” Have the kids try acting it out.
I pray all of God’s grace, peace, light, and love for you and yours always in the service of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!!!
Please comment and tell me what you think or what else you come up with.  I won’t know you came unless you comment!

Answers from God

Hey there, How are things going with you? Please comment and let me know how you are and who you are. You know me… Well, by my posts.
So, today Husband and I did Bible study. Nothing out of ordinary we do it every day. It was his turn reading so, he prays before he reads and I pray after he is done. We are praying for our children, today I asked that someone would talk to them… Someone who knows they are unreceptive to God and His Word. I also pleaded with God to give my husband and I tongues of boldness and the words to say to share the Lord as we went about today. I knew the man he was meeting with is one who is unreceptive to the Lord. So I asked for his heart to be softened.
Little did I know… I was going to walk to National (Supermarket here) for some tea I ran out of. I make an herbal sun tea so I needed one ingredient that is not from my garden. God had placed Phillipe in my path to witness to.  I knew as we talk and shared life stories God was doing what I had asked and that Just as He was sending those to Dennis and Misty He was sending me. I pray that the person who is praying for Phillipe finds out about our talk and I see him one day in eternity. I told him that too.

God’s grace, peace, light, and love be in your path today. May Jesus be on your lips and may you be ready to give testimony and witness with boldness for Our lord and Savior. I praise God Almighty for allowing me the privilege to serve Him and be of some use for Him today. I pray He uses you as well and that you are blessed with abundance from God’s storehouse. In Jesus’ Holy Name, Amen & Amen!!!
